we were excited to work with ROC Nation on this one. Who wouldn't want to work with "The Roc". But then we had the pleasure of hearing his music. Boy o' Boy... This man can flow. We hadn't heard a flow this hard since... Well, it's been a while.

This was a last-minute shoot, CiEsta made the calls and made the project happen. Seamless as usual. If there is one question you should be asking, it's how the heck did we manage to get a piano on a roof...

the shoot

this was probably the last video to be shot legally in NYC before the COVID-19 shutdown. It was the first of two videos shot back to back. Ash was happy to lens them both. Shot on our Arril Alexa Mini LF with a beautiful set of supreme primes, the images speak strongly for Ashe's Noir style as a DP with strong use of saturated colors.

Creative was lead by director Erikson Corneil and CiEsta tied it all together...

This video is the production company's in-house edit, which is a little different from the Director's official edit that was released.

The most impressive part of both of these videos was the kick-ass team kleenslate pulled up to make this video happen. The whole squad was on point.
